Would you like to help?

I am a very grateful person. For over 10 years, without a record label or corporate sponsors, I've been able to make a living by writing and performing music. The main reason I do music is for self-expression, not to sell records, to get famous, or to "pick up hot chicks!" But thanks for the offers... I digress.

That said, it still has a real impact on me when someone is willing to pay a few bucks to listen to my music. Not because I don't see the value of my work, but that it creates a connection for me that goes way beyond commerce.

Thankfully, some people out there that also feel that connection. Not only do these people enjoy the music, but they want to see it flow into the lives of others. If you believe yourself to be in this category, I'd like to give brief list of things you can do to make a real difference in my career. Several of these will cost you nothing, and most require very little investment of time.

1. SHARE. Buy, burn, or lend a CD to a friend. So much music goes by unnoticed these days. But when a friend says "Hey listen to this CD, I think you'll really like it" - it usually gets our attention. I don't lose sleep over people getting my music for free. I lose sleep over how to reach more people without spending a ton of money.

2. SEE OR SCHEDULE A CONCERT. If I'm not scheduled to play a show in your area anytime soon, it's not very difficult to help me change that. One great way is to host a "concert in your home." If you can get 25-35 friends together, we can probably put together a show. These shows are intimate and always a great time. Email me if you'd like more information, or visit concertsinyourhome.com.

3. EMAIL. Choose a song from the website and send the link to a friend. Tell them why you think they will like it. Encourage them to visit the website when they do.

4. DONATE the children's CD to a charity. The "Five Little Monkeys" CD is one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. The letters, emails and reactions I receive from kids and parents alike never ceases to amaze me. Yet there are so many kids that count on charitable people for these kinds of gifts. I give a lot of them away (I always bring an extra copy when I go to the post office, and give it to the mom with the quietest kids!) but I could really use your help. So please contact me if you'd like to purchase 10 or more CDs at a deep discount and give them to your favorite children's charity. I love to support random acts of kindness.

THANK YOU!
